Renaissance Dyeing New Web-Site
Our new web-site is up and running, we hope that you like it.
To celebrate, we have introduced a few new items for you, all naturally dyed of course!
These include
- Two New Shibori Packs in pinks and blues.
- Three different shades of Textured Packs.
- Pre-mordanted Merino Tops in two weights.
- Woad pigment.
Please give us feedback on what you find, we would particularly like to know if you would like us to provide more dyes.
The site is not quite finished yet, as we still have to clarify the colour swatches on the Individual Skeins page. Soon I will be adding a Sales Page, which will mainly consist of dye lots which have not quite reached the desired shade for some reason and experiments with different yarns. Also Woad dyed knitting hanks, and Punch-needle Kits are on their way
I am really thrilled with the new web-site. It has been created by Apricot Web Solutions, so that I can fully manage it myself, adding items as they are created in the Dye House. It is fully intergrated into The Paypal secure payment system so that you and I have no problems with payment.
The management at Apricot Web Solutions would like to know if you have any problems accessing the new web-site from certain browsers. if so please contact Apricot Web Solutions Ltd.
Enjoy

Re: Our New Web Site
Hi,
in Firefox, the enlarged pictures on dark background do not open. anyway, I think this is doesn't have to be, because a half-transparent background is an effect that is worn out after the first try, so the solution could be much easier in simple HTML. Why not just open a new page with dark background with some elements from the home page? Some typical motif? The visitor will concentrate on the large picture anyway.
Kind regards, the rest of the site is just fine!

Re: Our New Web Site
Thank you for your feedback it is very much appreciated. I'm afraid I haven't been able to reproduce the problem you are having. I checked it in Firefox all the way back to version 0.7.0 and the images were loading. Was it a specific image that wasn't loading? Once again thank you for your feedback.
Is anyone else having this problem?
Best regards
Simon
