The pack consists of 25 gm of Persian Berry extract and instructions which will be e-mailed to you as a pdf.

Persian berry, also called Avignon berry or French berry, is the fruit of the Avignon Buckthorn (Rhamnus saxatilis). They have been used for centuries to produce good solid yellow and olive shades, which are slightly redder in tone than weld.

The natural dye extract is produced in France by Couleurs de Plantes using procedures that respect the environment and comply with organic textile certifications (Ecocert, Oekotex, Soil Association).

The samples in the image are all mordanted with alum and dyed in the same dye bath. They are from left to right:-

Wool, Wool/Silk, Silk, Cotton and Wool with iron after bath
