25 gms of Coreopsis Natural dye Extract. It like the other French Natural dye extracts has been certified as having a Global Orgainic Textile Standard (GOTS).

Coreopsis is an exciting natural dye as it, like logwood responds so dramatically to a change in Ph.

A drop of vinegar will remove the red pigment from your yarn or fibre whereas a touch of alkali will bring it back again.This has interesting implications for yarn and fabric painting.

The samples were all dyed in the same bath at a ratio of 10% weight of yarn/fibre.

They are from left to right: Wool, Wool modified with vinegar, Silk partially modified with vinegar, Silk, Merino roving, Wool Boucle and Grey fleece.
