4 Different shades of shibori naturally dyed merino crewel wool for you to try at a low price. Each dye lot of 20 hanks is unique, the blend of two natural dyes producing a myriad of tones to add harmonious living movement to your work.
Dappled Lime: Indigo on Weld
The yarn is mordanted and then dyed yellow with weld, after which it is dyed with indigo to a light tone of green. Then it is carefully shibori tied and undergoes successive dips in the indigo vat until the desired tones is achieved.
Dappled Lilac: Indigo on Cochineal
A soft blend of different tones of Indigo dyed onto differing tones of Cochineal.
Dappled Indigo: Indigo Shibori
Natural Indigo shibori dyed, for gentle variation.
Smoked Indigo: Indigo and Woad
An interesting natural dyeing combination of Natural Indigo, Fresh Woad and Shibori tying giving an harmonious blend of tones and hues. Mainly blue with a hint of turquoise.
