100g plant dyed Organic Poll Dorset, from an organically certified flock raised in France, combed and spun to a fine 4/14 for use as 4-ply.

Springy and strong, with a light lustre and bags of versatility.

Maury is hand dyed with weld and indigo, a bright joli green with a little abrash. Pierre Maury was a shepherd living and working in the Pyrenees at the turn of the 14th century, he would have been too poor to afford indigo.

100gm is approximately 344m, i.e. 3.53 oz is approximately 376 yards.

We recommend that you use 2.25m - 3.75 m (US 1 -5) knitting needles depending on the project undertaken.

Hand wash in warm water, wash dark colours separately for a while, this is the type of wool that gets even better with age.
