Vidal is hand dyed with madder and cutch, and is named after Peire Vidal one of the most famous of the Occitanian troubadours.

100gm is approximately 344m, i.e. 3.53 oz is approximately 376 yards.

We recommend that you use 2.25m - 3.75 m (US 1 -5) knitting needles depending on the project undertaken.

Hand wash in warm water, wash dark colours separately for a while, this is the type of wool that gets even better with age.
