Queen's Blue- Woad Dyed - 100g BFL sock yarn

Naturally hand-dyed with woad, a dark vibrant blue taking lots of dips in the woad vat to reach this depth of colour.

The name is one of the traditional names for the many shades of woad.

The wool is 100g / 3.52oz hanks and is 356m / nearly 400yds long.
Our BFL is superwash and therefore can be washed in a machine at 30°- 40°C.
Needle size 2mm - 3.50mm depending on project undertaken.

Wash dark colours separately for a while.
