Naturally Dyed Sock Kit

Pre mordanted 100g hank with three dye extracts. For those wishing to naturally dye their own sock yarn we offer a kit of 100g Organic Poll Dorset wool which has been pre-mordanted with alum and cream of tartar.

• 10g Madder Extract
• 10g Persian Berry Extract
• 10g Logwood Extract
• Instruction sheet sent as pdf.

The wool is 100g / 3.52 oz hanks and is 344m / nearly 367 yds long. Our Organic Poll Dorset is NOT superwash, however it does not felt easily and can be washed in a washing-machine on a cold wool wash and of course it naturally dyes with no problems at all. Needle size 2mm - 3.50mm depending on project undertaken.
