Rêve Sunset - Naturally Dyed with Woad and Cochineal

A soft and strong: lustrous and luxurious 4-ply yarn, 60% merino, 10% silk, 15% bamboo and 15% nylon.

Naturally dyed with woad pigment and cochineal for a living moving colour. Rêve Sunset was first dyed with varying strengths of cochineal, the shades were then modified in parts and then carefully over-dyed with woad, adding shibori resist ties before and after each dip in the woad vat.

Both woad and cochineal have very good light-fastness qualities and Rêve can be washed in the machine or by hand at 40°C.

All hanks are 100g (3.5oz) and have been dyed in the hank. There are 330m per 100gm.
