Woad Pigment for Your Blue Vat
Our highly concentrated pure woad pigment is grown and produced here in the Midi-Pyrénées by Bleu de Lectoure. The pigment comes together with 5 different recipes for naturally dyeing textiles blue with woad. Please indicate when ordering if you would like the recipes in English or French.
For Artists
It is necessary to regrind the powder pigment in a mortar, using small quantities and adding the required medium (natural oil, Arabic gum, egg yolk and vinegar) to obtain a homogeneous result.
PLEASE NOTE that it can not be mixed with paint, limewash, oil, varnish, etc.
