When you go to a busy show you don't always have time to have a look around. An early morning browse perhaps or quick forays to the loo or cafe. My tendency is to do an overall survey and then return when I can to things that attracted me. So here are some of my photos.

En allant dans un grand salon, vous n'avez pas toujours le temps de regarder autour. Une visite tôt le matin peut-être, ou des incursions rapides au café. Ma tendance est de faire une évaluation globale et de revenir quand je peux à des choses qui ont attiré mon attention. Voici donc quelques-unes de mes photos.

or the simplicity of the fabric assembly and stitching, like a line of poetry

The exhibition of Welsh quilts was stunning for it simplicity and colour. Turkey red.

L'exposition de quilts du Pays de Galles était magnifique pour sa simplicité et sa couleur. Turquie rouge.

Kaffe Fassett, what a hero of knitting and stitching but most of all of colour.

Kaffe Fassett, quel héro de tricot et de couture, mais surtout de couleur.

No frame or special tools, he stitched this needlepoint evenly at a phenomenal rate and started and finished it during the show. Note the striped shirt!

Pas de cadre ni d'outils spéciaux, il a cousu cette tapisserie à l'aiguille uniformément à un rythme phénoménal et a commencé et a fini pendant le salon. Notez la chemise à rayures!
