Our organic 4 ply (4/14) yarn is from certified Organic Poll Dorset Sheep raised in France, it has been washed just in soap then combed and spun in the north of Italy (close to us).
We are offering this wool on a cone of 1300gm at what is a 20% discount of the usual price.
This 4 ply wool has a very low carbon footprint as well as being a soft, springy, very strong, slightly lustrous and versatile yarn with excellent stitch definition. It is ideal for socks, gloves, hat, shawls and sweaters.
We recommend that you use 2.00 - 4.00 mm (US 1 -6) knitting needles depending on the project undertaken.
Machine wash - cold wool cycle or hand wash in warm water, this is the type of wool that gets even better with age.
