25 g undyed Organic Poll Dorset from an organically certified flock raised in France, spun to a fine 4/14 for use as 4-ply, fingering.
This wool is washed using a traditional wool washing system and biological and bio-degradeable detergents, made form sustainable sources such as coconut oil. It is then combed so that it can be worsted spun to give it strength and springiness as well as softness. Idea for socks, mittens, children's and adult's garments - a wool with bags of versatility.
25 g is approximately 86m, i.e. 0.88oz is approximately 94 yards.
We recommend that you use 2m - 3.75 m (US 1 -5) knitting needles depending on the project undertaken.
This wool is NOT super-washed but it does not felt easily you can therefore safely wash it on a cool wool cycle in your washing machine. In fact the more you wash it the more it blooms.
