Kea yoke Pullover designed by Bristol Ivy - third size 139-154 cm [54¾ - 60 ¾in]

A bottom-up colour work yoke pullover inspired by the delicate twirl of feathers on the breeze. Designed by Bristol Ivy using our naturally dyed organic Poll Dorset 4-ply wool. The pullover is worked in the round from the bottom up. The body and sleeves are joined together at the yoke and short rows are worked to raise the back neck.

This pullover pattern comes in 12 sizes ranging from 30¾in to 60 ¾in bust. That is 78-154 cm. To be work with 0-10cm [0-4"] positive ease, shown here in 38¾"with 0 cm [0"] positive ease.

Recommended Needle Sizes

  • Needle A: 1 60-100 cm [24-40”] circular needle and 1 set of double-pointed needles (dpns) for st st. Recommended size: 3.75 mm (US 5)
  • Needle B: 1 x 60-100 cm [24-40”] circular needle and 1 set of dpns for colourwork, one size larger than Needle A. Recommended size: 4 mm [US 6]
  • Needle C: 1 x 60-100 cm [24-40”] circular needle and 1 set of dpns for ribbing, two sizes smaller than Needle A. Recommended size: 3.25 mm [US 3]
  • Needle D (optional, for tubular CO and BO only): 1 x 60-100 cm [24-40”] circular needle, 1 x 40 cm [16"] circular needle and 1 set of dpns, three sizes smaller than Needle A. Recommended size: 2.75 mm [US 2]
