Summer Offer
Summer has, I think, definitely arrived and to give a helping hand to those of you beginning to think of your holiday projects we are offering a 10% discount on anything woolly on the site, that means all but the extracts. The code is sunshine and the offer will run from July 2nd to July 15th. Happy Holidays
Merinos d'Arles Bundles and new colours
Maybe you might want to grab one of the new Merinos d'Arles Bundles to enhance your colour work. These are 4 naturally dyed shades of Merinos d'Arles fingering wool, 4 x 25gm put together with the knitter in mind.. These bundles are going to be a work in progress throughout the summer so check back to see what's new or even leave a comment under the newsletter posted in the blog stream with any suggestions of a colourway you would like to see.
I will also be putting up new Merinos d'Arles colours over the summer months, some will be graded to use in colour work and there will be others that express the joy of working with magical plants on well cared for sustainable wool like the new Unicorn Red below. Some of these new colours will be limited editions, so first come first served. I will let you know via our Instagram and Facebook pages when they are put on the web-site. Happy Hunting
Open Studios
Our Open Studio Days will continue throughout the summer. Click on the link to see the blog post with dates and details. We will have 25g hanks of Merinos to buy as singles or to mix and match as you wish as well as our usual wools and kits plus of course an indigo vat and dyehouse, the winding room, the dye garden and US.
We are very happy to launch a new kit from Hélène Marcy, Eclatdusoleil. Evergreen is a dreamily soft Estonian shawl knitted from one of our 100gm hanks of Merino lace-weight as the main colour with the lace border using a 250m hank. As with so many of Hélène's patterns you can pick and choose which colours go best for you and your wardrobe. In the lace-weight yarn you have a hundred naturally dyed colours from which to choose.
