A Happy New Year to all of you and a big thank you for being there, it is not always easy for artisans in the present economic, social media orchestrated world so please know that we do always appreciate your custom.

No January is complete without a SALE, this year we have shifted a cross-section of our kits to our sales page something for everybody we hope, inevitably until supplies run out.

                          NATURAL DYEING WORKSHOP 2019

. This years natural dyeing 5 day workshop will be from August 5th - 9th. As usual it will cover all aspects of natural dyeing on woollen yarn including mordanting, single dye baths, exhausts, indigo dyeing and dye garden. Click here for course information and your booking form

As many of you have noticed we now have a Batches and Bundles page where you will find 25g hanks for your colourwork and limited edition batches of special dye lots, most of which are variegated wool to answer your modern knitting and crochet needs.

Below is Winter Storm , dyed on Poll Dorset wool using smidgeons of Madder root, weld and loads of Indigo.

Our 2019 markets and salons are beginning to appear on our event page. Sadly there will be no Le Lot et La Laine festival this year but they say that absence makes the heart grow fonder so we are already looking forward to July 2020!
